How to Make a Moon Landing Short Film in Bedroom

Recently, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, NOMO Camera APP released a filter camera called MOON, which is inspired by the Hasselblad Data Camera and the Hasselblad 500EL/M 20-year commemorative edition. At the same time, an advertisement entitled "Ordinary Adventures" was released. In the film, when the little boy watched the first human landing on the moon, he used the props in his cabin to complete a moon landing with NOMO's MOON camera, which makes people feel very excited.

In the short film, the little boy built a moon scene in his own cabin with props such as down jacket, fish tank, flour, black paper, etc. The short film uses the historical picture to cross the clip with the actual operation of the little boy, and there are microscopic close-ups from time to time to make the scenes looks grand.

When everything is ready, with the real historical moments, the astronauts use the Hasselblad camera to shoot on the moon, and the little boy shot with NOMO's MOON camera, which is indeed an "ordinary adventure."

The short film was produced by MediaStorm(影视飓风), produced and edited by flypig (Weibo:flypig), directed by Yu Zhihao (Weibo:业余志豪), and Xiong Xiaomo(熊小默) served as creative consultant. Director Yu Zhihao also shared some manuscripts on Weibo.

The sample images showed in the APP are also shot by MediaStorm with miniature props. The team also shared a short video of the producing process.

The filter camera also has an easter egg, the bottom of the frame is the number of AS08-14-2383, which is the number of a NASA photo taken hastily by Apollo 8 astronaut Bill Anders. But it became the most cohesive picture of the 20th century. It is not only the most printed photo ever made, and it also directly inspired the anti-war movement in the late 1960s, and then,  environmentalism swept the world. National Geography magazine called it the most important landscape in history. NOMO sets this element on the border of the MOON camera, which is both a tribute and a finishing touch.
